It’s lonely at the top. There’s no one to confide in: not your board, team, family or friends.

You need a support system. That’s where I come in.

Feel what it’s like to have someone in your corner with decades of real business experience and powerful emotional intelligence know-how.

Join my client roster of unicorn and public company CEOs

I’ve spent hundreds of hours coaching and advising clients across the globe, including multiple unicorn and public company CEOs and their teams, investors, and board members.

Thriving at the C-level has its challenges. Let me help you with them.

Leadership

Being an effective leader: It’s your first time leading a company, and you want to grow into the role. Or you’ve led countless teams and want to level up to guide your organization through growth. You want to lead from the front and make sure your vision stays true throughout the organization; build high-performing, talent-dense teams; and successfully navigate the growing pains of every successful startup.

Handling lots of scrutiny: It’s getting hot under that spotlight because everyone’s watching: funders, customers, employees, and the market. How do you stay cool?

Effective Conversations

Making meetings matter more and suck less: Enough said!

Navigating difficult conversations: You have feedback to give - to your co-founder, to your team - but are afraid it will ruin relationships. Your direct reports have conflict and you want to fix this.

Creating a feedback-rich environment: You crave feedback and development but no one’s giving it to you. You wish you could know if what you’re doing is “right”. You want your teams to give and get feedback.

Building connection: You crave connection with those you work with. And you want to build collaboration and connection across differences for your growing team.

Happiness & Fulfillment

Seeking greater fulfillment: You wish to love more of what you do, and do more of what you love.

Being less isolated: It feels like nobody empathizes with your problems, but it also feels risky to disclose vulnerability.

Needing more balance: You want to balance personal life and the demands of your business.

Why I coach

I believe that people do business with people. Working as a strategy consultant with senior executives taught me that the key to performance and execution is people; it’s always about culture, leadership and teams. Coaching was a natural extension to my consulting practice, as a way to turn the best laid plans into reality.

I believe that the hard skills get you into leadership but the soft skills are what make you great. I kept hearing that leaders know empathy, influence and connection are important… but that it’s really hard to “do” them in practice. They just want to know the practical actions they can take to make the soft skills “happen”. That’s my passion and specialty.

I believe that leaders have a responsibility to their teams. They have the ability to influence the performance, well-being and happiness of their people; so coaching leaders is my leveraged way of having impact on a lot of people!

Working with me

Get in touch for a consultation

Are you ready for coaching? Let’s talk to see if we are a fit. You should feel a “click” when things are right, when your coach has the approach and style that fits you.

Clients who do best are those who are open: to learning about themselves, digging into what they really want, and trying new frameworks, approaches and behaviors.

Coaching Logistics

All sessions are remote. It’s your choice to have them on Zoom or by phone. Some clients find it productive to “walk and talk”, and a relief to not be on camera.
